AI that knows the tax code. Accordance is a platform for tax, audit, and accounting teams.

It launched publicly with $13M funding: a $10M seed led by Khosla Ventures and a $3M pre‑seed led by General Catalyst, with Anthropic, NEA, Bain Capital Ventures, and Sequoia Capital participating.

Founded by Stanford dropouts David Yue and Finsam Samson, Accordance built a multi‑agent AI system that outperforms general models on specialised tax tasks.

The platform has seen a tenfold increase in usage and is used by 50+ CPA teams, including adoption by the University of San Francisco’s law school. Accordance’s AI helps practitioners navigate thousands of regulations, court rulings, and standards, delivering expert‑level insights with SOC 2 compliance. CEO David Yue says they’re giving every professional superpowers.
